There has been things with Clairette that I was very unsure about and there was something very off with her from the start. I’ve noticed she has been probing the other ladies with many questions, trying to suss out both the ladies and farmer Thomas.
She has been coming across that she wants to be the main lady here and is making it look as if she will certainly be picked by farmer Thomas.
