Bec is deeply damaged from a life of bullying. She did a lot of healing and was able to interrupt her patterns, we saw her take ownership and have moments of self-awareness after saying something wild. This was until she was put up against a couple of manipulators in a high-pressure situation. I think she is vulnerable and cannot handle the pressure she is under so she is grasping for straws. Gia was trying to trigger her and make her feel like an outsider and only Bec was noticing it, but because she has no amount of chill she couldn’t ignore it and lost the plot. I reckon this dinner party would have never happened in the outside world. Poor Danny, I really like him and was rooting for them. He liked her too, but I doubt he has the same feelings now.
